Current Trustees

The Trust is administered by trustees appointed in accordance with the R. T. Hall Trusts Act 1958 (NSW). Trustees ensure that funding decisions align with the founder's charitable intentions and statutory guidelines.
The Honourable Justice
Michael Pembroke
CHAIRMAN
Michael was a judge of the Supreme Court of NSW appointed in 2010 and is an accomplished author. He is the author of several acclaimed books including Arthur Phillip–Sailor, Mercenary, Governor, Spy, Play by the Rules, Korea: Where the American Century Began and his latest work Silk Silver Opium: The Trade with China that Changed History.
Dr. Nabila Ansari
TRUSTEE
Nabila is a colorectal surgeon who became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012 and serves as lead of the Peritoneal Malignancy Service at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Her specialised fellowship training included 12 months at Basingstoke Hospital in the UK, one of the world's leading peritoneal cancer centres, where she developed expertise in managing patients with peritoneal malignancy.
David Hardy
TRUSTEE
David is a corporate strategist who served as Head of Strategy for Insurance Australia Group and held senior leadership roles with the consulting firms McKinsey & Co. and Accenture. He has also taught strategy as adjunct faculty on the MBA program at the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Jenny Abood
SECRETARY
Jenny commenced her career in Finance in 1995 as a Fixed Income Specialist at CBA and has worked at ABN AMRO and UBS Wealth. She was a founding Partner at Crestone Wealth Management and moved back to Morgans Financial in 2021, delivering investment advice to financial institutions, superannuation funds, charitable organisations, and Australia’s wealthiest families. Jenny is also Chair of the Sydney FC Foundation, a Board of Director for United Way Australia, Member of Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney Investment Committee and is a founding member of the Professional Australian Lebanese Association.
